An ordained bishop in the Church of God, based in Cleveland, Tennessee, at the age of 29 Paul ventured into full time evangelistic ministry. For the next 23 years he traveled to numerous states. He has been married to Debbie, his high school sweetheart, for 37 years. Together they have one son, Paul.

Now returning to his Gospel Music roots, Paul is looking forward to once again bringing the Gospel through song.

A musician since he was eight years old, Eddie is a talented songwriter, and has written several of the songs performed by the Gospel Sounds.

Lori Carroll's Bio
Lori Carroll
Lori Carroll began singing and playing the piano with the Gospel Sounds in 1977. She sang with another southern gospel group from Ohio and had plans to join them in full time ministry after graduation when she met Eddie and they married in 1978. Eddie and Lori began their evangelistic ministry in 1982 and their pastoral ministry in 1986.

Music ministry has been a part of Lori’s life since a very young age. She remembers being up front on the church platform at 2 years of age sitting with her father, in between the guitar and his lap, while he played for worship service and always loving to sing. Her inspiration and encouragement to become a musician and singer was nurtured by her grandparents, who were singers and church musicians themselves. She first began to play the piano in church for her grandfather as he sang specials which led her to become a church pianist at the age of 12 and she has served in music ministry for the past 35 years.
David East's Bio
David East
David East developed his love for music at the age of 8 years old, singing in his home church and at school functions. Over time he has learned to play 13 instruments, performed on several albums, and stood on several stages playing, singing and preaching. David joined the Gospel Sounds in 1979, traveling with them for over 2 years. After leaving the Gospel Sounds in 1981, David went on the evangelistic field, holding revivals and singings across several states, eventually working in a music ministry at his local church.

During recent revivial services at his local church, the evangelist told him, "You have an unrealized dream; God is giving you another chance to realize your dream." Not long after that, calls began to pour in wanting the Gospel Sounds to appear. "I'm so happy to be back doing what I love to do: writing, arranging and performing Gospel music," he said recently. "I am so excited to be a part of the Gospel Sounds' Ministry once again." David's best friend is his lovely wife Bobbie, who travels with him everywhere he goes to minister. "I just couldn't do this without her love and support," he says.
